   About Dan Raza

Dan Raza is a 23-year old English singer who has been captivating audiences since first bringing his own brand of roots music to the stage in late 2006.

Since that time, he has opened up for Joan Armatrading on her European tour and played throughout the UK, sharing the stage with artists such as Mary Gauthier, Badly Drawn Boy, Cara Dillon, Peter Case and The Sadies, as well as playing to large crowds at festivals like The Secret Garden Party, Summer Sundae and Leicester City of Blues. Most recently he has toured Austin, Texas with Slaid Cleaves. He has also recorded several live BBC radio sessions.

An East London resident, Dan's song, 'Every Little Dog,' charted his response to the 7th July bombings and has been heavily featured on Neil Young's 'Living With War' website.

The 'Dan Raza Sings' EP has now sold out of it's limited edition pressing, receiving glowing reviews from press and much radio airplay, including BBC stations. This can be heard and purchased at www.apple.com/itunes.

Dan is currently writing and recording for his debut album with his band. All tracks written and performed by Dan Raza. Copyright © 2007 Dan Raza. All rights reserved. You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM's MySpace Profile Editor!

Hey bud, if you need a bit of an appetiser before the trip to Chesterfield this one's gonna be fun. If not, I thought you'd at least appreciate a picture of Hank on your page. . . .

How did you get to play somewhere called "Townes Brewery". That has to be the greatest name for a venue in the history of the universe. I'm putting together a bit of a birthday soiree at The Betsey in January and I'd love you to be involved. I promise to do First Thoughts On Woody Guthrie as I'll have a special guest on lead guitar.

I'd LOVE to! Ace!

Wait - are you playing the Windmill on the 23rd? Because if so, I'll see you there!

(I think Tim is trying to force us to be best friends by throwing us together frequently). I can see a lifetime of situational comedy moments involving you and I in hilarious misunderstandings and mix-ups...
