Just a couple of days to go now until the release of my second album on 7/7/2017 and I’m very happy to share this fantastic promo film for it here:
The trailer was directed and conceived by my good pal, James Smith, who also produced the documentary on me, ‘Can’t Go Back’, that was released last year and is available to view through my YouTube channel.
He has, once again, done an amazing job. And a big thank you must also go to the rest of the amazing team who made this possible:
Produced by Zest Productions / Tim Maynard, DOP – Tom Hooker, Sound Design – Two Ears/ Soren Andersen, Editors James Smith and Tim Maynard, Motion Graphics – Chris Kiernan
The 2 songs from the new record sent out for preview have been received well.
Huge thanks to Folk Radio UK for making ‘Where the Rivers Divide’ their Editor’s Pick.
Likewise, Tuna the Day, Listen with Monger and We Rock Webzine for giving ‘Pay Day’ such a positive reception.

Premiere: Dan Raza – Where The Rivers Divide (from New Album ‘Two’)
I’m very happy to say my second album is complete!
It will be officially released in early 2017, but I will be bringing a limited edition run with me on the upcoming Germany tour available for purchase!
For everybody else, I will be posting some tracks on this website and on YouTube for you to hear soon. I’m very pleased to have finished it – and am equally proud to be releasing it through Deep River Records – a great London-based label.
More info to follow soon : )
Coinciding with the end of the football season and sporadic sightings of sunshine(!), I’m happy to have a lot of gigs coming up this Spring and Summer which you can see over at the gigs page.
Coming up this week, I’ll be with the band debuting at a nice new venue, The Stable, on Saturday eve. This is free entry and is on the site of the my favourite bygone venues, the Rhythm Factory: http://stablepizza.com
Next Tuesday, I’ll be playing acoustic at the lovely little upstairs room above the Horse and Stables, close to Waterloo: https://www.facebook.com/events/223767901323440/
Much more coming up: http://www.danraza.com/gigs/
Looking forward to making a long awaited return to our favourite South London venue, The Duke, this Sunday. I’ll be joined by the full band and also opening up the bill is a great new songwriter, Damien Renouf.
Free entry as always – 5 minute walk from Cutty Sark DLR.
Be there or be square!
